When we first started working with Age Concern West Sussex, their IT systems were slow and they had a number of legacy IT problems. At the top of their list of IT requirements was a new server and the ability to share and access data across 7 sites and over 80 computers.

Firstly, we installed a new server and performed a swing migration, copying all their existing user accounts, data and settings across from their old server to the newly installed one. With regard to their data sharing requirement, there was a limited budget and the solution needed to be cost effective, quick and secure. We had installed similar technologies in the past and were able to offer them a software based solution that avoided the cost of expensive hardware, now their IT infrastructure is really working for them.

We’ve also put into place a fully managed IT services package, so their systems are now monitored 24/7 meaning we are on the case resolving faults before Age Concern even know there’s a problem, this also includes management of their backups and dedicated IT Support.
